• Suitable for all XT600 and SRX with coarse-toothed gearbox output shaft
• Allows backlash-free pinion assembly even with worn shafts and reduces wear on worn and new shafts
• Reduces wear on the stub shaft and allows pinion assembly with up to 50% worn transmission shaft

The problem:

• Sooner or later, every coarsely toothed gearbox output shaft is at risk of failure due to worn pinion teeth
• Until now, this meant the total failure of an entire gearbox and the almost hopeless search for a replacement part
• Even if both the pinion and the gearbox output shaft are as good as new, the problem of axial and radial backlash already exists to a small extent
• The greater the radial play, the faster the wear progresses
• With every load change on a worn shaft, the pinion has more distance to accelerate and then hits the gear shaft teeth with high force
• However, if more than 50% of the tooth width on the shaft has been worn away, the gear shaft must be replaced

The solution:

Our repair pinion set contains all the necessary components to compensate for axial and rotational backlash
The axial backlash and the resulting wear are reduced by the reinforced locking plate
The rotational backlash is reduced by the mutual clamping of the special sprocket and the counterholder
