Up to 50% offMEGA Sale – EVERYTHING must go. Really.
Our warehouse in Hamburg-Barmbek has suffered serious roof damage! The situation is serious: the roof and warehouse ceiling need extensive repairs as soon as possible. To do this, the entire warehouse must be cleared at short notice.
For us, this means: we have to clear the warehouse in the shortest possible time.
EVERYTHING MUST GO!
For you, this means: from October onwards, there will be restrictions on dispatch.
But before that, you can benefit hugely. You’ll get 20–50% off items available for IMMEDIATE DELIVERY.
It’s a win-win: an empty warehouse moves faster – and you can make real savings.
Unfortunately, this clearance sale isn’t a marketing gimmick like those run by mattress or carpet retailers. It’s the harsh reality.
The next few weeks will be tough for us – it would be great if you could support us with your understanding, patience and plenty of bulk buying!
Mini Luggage Rack, stainless steel, with black brackets and mounting hardware, luggage area approx. 23x15cm, suitable for the short seat (-'79 and '80-) ONLY
Finally, a luggage rack that blends harmoniously with the bike!
Not an industrial mass-produced item, welded using traditional craftsmanship from the 1980s - small irregularities in the seams emphasise the contemporary XT look
Elegant lines, welded from 12 mm stainless steel
Model-specific bracket made of black-coated stainless steel: this version fits all XT500s (steel tank up to 1979 and aluminium tank from 1980) with the long German seat
The seat can be (dis)assembled as usual even when the luggage rack is mounted
Optionally, the small 1.5L SW-Motech bag (item no. 60730) can be mounted on the left side with the additional holder (item no. 60086); the original toolbox is not affected
The SLC side bag holder (item no. 60098 or 60098EVO) can be combined with the luggage rack
For offset of OEM frame mount indicators see item 50350
How can I tell the difference between the short seat and the long German seat? On the long seat (see item 27801), there is approx. 20 mm of space between the outer edge of the seat and the inner edge of the frame arch on models up to 1979, and approx. 5 mm on models from 1980 onwards. The short seat has approx. 60 mm of space on models up to 1979 and approx. 45 mm on models from 1980 onwards. For the foam cores and seat covers of the XT (see, for example, item 21010), a comparison image is also provided with the product photos.
